As the state elections have now come to an end, the exit polls have predicted a clear victory for the Congress in Rajasthan and now the question of CM is daunting in Delhi.
The results will be announced on December 11 but the talks in the corridors of Delhi and Jaipur have begun that who will be the new Chief Minister amidst the debates and interviews on TV channels.
Senior Congress leader and probable CM candidate Ashok Gehlot has been in news as the front runner for the post, who in an interview to India Today said, that its the Delhi leadership which will decide about the post if Congress wins the poll and nothing can be said further.
Till now, Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot have been avoiding this question about the chief ministerial post and have been reserved about the issue but the speculation in the media has now become high after the exit polls predicted a clear victory with a comfortable majority for the Congress party.
When Ashok Gehlot was asked about his comments on “Mukhya-Mantri Gehlot” he said, “Since Independence, the party has never announced any chief ministerial candidate in a state before elections.”
Rajasthan Congress chief and young leader Sachin Pilot would be the icon of the icon of the youth if he becomes the CM and when Gehlot was asked about the same thing, he replied, “It is a hypothetical question. I will not put a question mark on anyone's capabilities. You should not ask me that,” as reported by the NDTV.
