In a horrific and saddening incident at a fair in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur a kid was killed in one of the trolley cars of a giant merry-go-round wheel crash into the ground on Sunday night. The crash left six others injured, including three children who were critically wounded in the accident.
While the 10-year-old girl, Amrutha died almost on the spot immediately, others injured are availing treatment at Anantapur general hospital.
According to a report in NDTV, the trolley car crashed after a bolt gave away and it came tumbling down from a height with children.
According to the eyewitnesses they had alerted the giant wheel operator about the loose bolt. However, he failed to act quickly as he was apparently drunk, NDTV reported.
