Maharashtra former Minister Babanrao Gholap duped by an unidentified man who had promised to give a special mobile number as well as iPhone to him only at Rs 1.33 lakh.
According to the reports, Gholap has filed a complaint against the accused at Nasik Police Station. Sub-Inspector Chandrakant said that the man had promised him to provide a special mobile number and iphone between 1 January to 20 November 2017 and asked to give the amount for it.
A case was registered under section 420 (cheating) of the IPC (Indian Penal Code).
However, Gholap deposited the said amount in the given bank account by the accused. But the former Minister did not receive any special number and iPhone.
