Amended Motor Vehicles Act: Defective number plates, no helmet, over speeding vehicles still rule the roads

Many people have been opposing stringent fines imposed for violation of traffic rules under amended Motor Vehicles Act. But the fact remains that many of us brazenly violate traffic rules, putting many lives in danger on the roads. What our reporters have captured in their cameras is enough to conclude that we as citizens need to be more responsible while driving on the roads.

No time to wear a helmet

In Surat, people were found violating traffic rules, some even dragged their vehicles after spotting traffic policemen on duty. Some people didn't care to wear a helmet although they were carrying.
