A shocking news report has come to light from Uttar Pradesh Meerut, where earthquake measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale jolted Kharkhoda on Monday morning, said United States Geological Survey. Earthquake hit the city at around 6:28 am on 10th September at a depth of 10 km, the agency added.
According to the news reports, the tremors were also felt in the various parts of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. However, no loss of life and damage to property have been recorded until now.

The quake hit in Meerut after an earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale also hit Haryana’s Jhajjar district on Sunday afternoon. Therefore, in less than 24 hours, it’s the second quake in the country. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), an earthquake struck at about 4.37 pm at a depth of 10 km.
