Agra Shocker: Minor girl commits suicide after harassment by friend's father

In a shocking incident, a minor girl committed suicide in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra after she was allegedly harassed by her friend’s father. The incident was reported from Etmadpur town on March 13.

According to the victim’s father, Raghavendra Singh Chauhan used to harass his daughter on the phone to an extent that she committed suicide.

In the complaint, the girl’s father alleged that Chauhan used to talk obscenely to her daughter on the phone. The girl had also complaint to her family several times.

Acting on the complaint, police have arrested the accused near the Yamuna Expressway and recovered two mobile phones from his possession.

A case was registered following a complaint by the father of the deceased, said Thana Khandauli SHO NK Mishra.
