After deadly Pulwama terrorist attack, the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed is planning to carry out another fidayeen attack even of a much bigger magnitude, intelligence agencies found after intercepting the communication of JeM leadership.
According to intelligence, when they intercepted a phone conversation between JeM leadership in Pakistan of February 16-17 it revealed that Jaish is planning an attack of a "bigger" magnitude after the "success" of Pulwama.
According to intercepts accessed by TOI, Jaish terrorists resolved to execute another bombing to cause massive casualty to Indian security forces.
A top intelligence on Wednesday official said various inputs from different quarters indicated that there could be a major attack either in Jammu or outside J&K, reported TOI.
“Another convoy of the security forces might be targeted by JeM using green camouflaged SUV (similar to army vehicles) with as much as 500 Kgs of RDX explosive on board.” says initial report.
Notably, earlier, it was reported that JeM fidayeen (suicide attacker) have entered India with the intention to carry out attacks in Jammu & Kashmir or outside.
Quoting Intel sources, on February 19, TOI reported that, a 21-member JeM squad, including three suicide bombers, had infiltrated into Kashmir in December last year to launch three attacks, including two outside the Valley.
On February 14, Adil Ahmad Dar, JeM terrorist rammed an SUV-laden with 350Kgs of RDX, into a bus plying with the 78-vehicle convoy of the CRPF killing over 40 jawans.
