The newly elected Tripura CM is recently bagging the limelight after making back to back controversial remark from Internet during Mahabharat to youth to milk cows or set up paan shop for livelihood. After making series of bizarre comments, now Mr Deb was seen threating to those taking on his government. He was seen even warning not to interfere in his government or poke at it, or else he would chop off their nails.
According to News 18 reports, Biplab Kumar Deb offered a vegetable vendor's gourd analogy to drive home the point. "Around 8 am, a vegetable vendor brings bottle gourd to the market. However, it gets rotten by 9 am due to the repeated digging of nails by customers. This should not happen with my government. No interference in my government. If someone pokes or interferes his nail should be chopped off. No one can touch my government," Deb said. According to reports, Biplab Deb has been summoned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 2 for his controversial statements.
Earlier, Tripura CM advice to youth to set up a paan stall or milk cows for survival and not to waste their crucial time running behind politicians. Before that, he made a remark on Miss World 1997 Diana Haydon Mr Deb asserted that internet and satellite existed in Mahabharata time. Also, Deb urged mechanical engineers not to appear for the civil services exams and said that only civil engineers ought to opt for the exam.
