After Godse first Hindu extremist remark, Kamal Haasan says 'Every religion has its own terrorist'

Just a day after when two unidentified persons purportedly hurdled eggs and stones during Kamal Haasan's rally at his bypoll campaign, the actor-turned-politician says that he feels the quality of polity is going down. Let us tell you that Kamal Haasan came into the controversies after he made a remark on Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse and referred him as "free India's t first extremist was Hindu".

“I don't feel threatened. Every religion has its own terrorist, we cannot claim that we are sanctimonious. History shows that all religions have their extremists,” Kamal told the media.

When he was asked about the protests he is facing after his remark on Nathuram Godse, so he said that he was not afraid of being arrested. “Let them arrest me. If they do that, it will only create more problems. It is not a warning but only a piece of advice.” told Kamal Haasan.

Interestingly, some protestors at the rally of Kamal Haasan at Thirupparankundram in Madurai threw footwear and eggs on him. While on the other hand, Kamal Haasan has tweeted on social media for asking his fans to stay calm. "Dear MNM family and fans, this is an acid test for our decorum and demeanour. Do not listen to their noises and be drawn into their violence," Kamal Haasan tweeted.

"They are extremists who are slighted by the Truth. Naalai Namadhey! (Tomorrow belongs to us), " he added to the tweet.
