Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on conviction of Sajjan Kumar attacked the Congress party and its Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister pick for Madhya Pradesh referring to 1984 anti-Sikh riots Delhi High Court verdict. Badal thanked PM Modi for a SIT probe and serving justice.
“I want to thank PM Modi that on Shiromnai Akali Dal's request in 2015 he set up a SIT to probe 1984 massacre. It's a historic judgement. Wheels of justice have finally moved,” Harsimrat Kaur Badal said. “It is Sajjan Kumar today, it will be Jagdish Tytler tomorrow then Kamal Nath and eventually the Gandhi family,” she added.

“Khoon ka badla khoon, jab ek bada darakht girta hai to dharti hilti hi hai.' When a PM says these words on national television...we were trying to protect ourselves & were saved by the almighty. Thousands of innocent were brutally killed before their families,” the union minister said.
Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann also attacked Congress and said, “Kamal Nath was called back after people opposed his appointment as the Punjab Congress in-charge, why isn't he being called back now? Congress is rubbing salt on our wounds. People saw him inciting the mob, why no FIR has been filed against him?”

On Monday, Delhi High court convicted Congres leader Sajjan Kumar in 1984 anti-Sikh riots and sentenced him a life-term jail. Following his conviction, the ghost of anti-Sikh riots started haunting Congress' picked MP CM Kamal Nath, who is allegedly named in 1984-anti Sikh riots.
