Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar is once again accused by singer Momina Mustehsan who opened up about being sexually harassed. The singer didn't give much details about what she went through but has requested the culprits to respond to women’s ‘#MeToo’ with ‘#ImSorry’. The singer tweeted, "#MeToo needs a response #ImSorry from the offenders. Nothing will change until they acknowledge, take responsibility and make amends."
Momina's says that the issue is not about Ali Zafar but the issue is much serious than that, "This is about the relationship of trust that men take for granted with women. Very often, as we can see, women are violated by the very men they know, trust and often work with," Momina said.
The singer has also demanded that Ali should he should accept his fault and if he is guilty and “apologise unconditionally”.

Journalist Maham Javaid also accused Ali Zafar, as he tried to kiss her cousin sister many years ago. They forgot the story until Meesha narrated the story of sexual harassment against Ali.
So @itsmeeshashafi's brave sharing of her experience reminded me of a story about @AliZafarsays from many many years ago, when Ali Zafar tried to kiss my cousin and pull my cousin into a restroom with him. Luckily my cousin's friends were there to push Ali Zafar off https://t.co/kBQbBiwyFP

This was on a boat on the way to a party at the Yacht Club between 2004-2005. Why don't I remember the date? Bc this is what's crazy: in those days such sexual harassment was such a non issue and simultaneously such a taboo that we hardly spoke about it

We didn't even think of telling anyone, apart from friends, or reporting him because "he's a celebrity, no one would possibly care or listen". And tbh over the years we forgot the story ourselves, until today. Thanks @itsmeeshashafi for reminding us that our stories matters

Make-up artist Leena Ghani has also came forward in support of Meesha and revealed that she is not the only victim. She also told how Ali Zafar misbehaved with her in past.
Thank you @itsmeeshashafi for your courage and your bravery. It’s never easy. But that should never silence us. I am in total solidarity with you. You are not alone in this because #Metoo #TimesUp #WeBelieveYou pic.twitter.com/hkQ61bqnFH

After the allegations against Ali Zafar came to limelight, another Twitter user told that he molested a high school student volunteer during a fundraising event at Washington DC.
This is really sad. When he came to Washington DC for SK fundraiser, I had high school student volunteer crying in a bathroom bcos he molesyed her, women like you protect men like that and vulnerable kids pay the price; awful
