Scents which you wear actually describes you. People get close to you when they really like you scent or you can say they get attracted when they feel that you're something to breathe in.
Well, people cannot live without their perfumes and body mists. Some apply regularly or once in a day, while, others apply in each passing hour.
Well, here are some tips shared by an expert which might help you to keep your fragrance last longer.
Layers
Always apply the perfume in layers. When you spray your perfume post-shower or bath, straight after moisturiser is the best time. “Well-hydrated skin holds fragrance the best, so I love to spritz my fragrance after getting out of the shower and applying unscented body lotion,” says Christine Luby, co-founder of luxury San Francisco-based fragrance company Pinrose who spoke with the Telegraph.
Don't rub
This is probably the big mistake everyone makes. People have a habit to rub the area where they apply perfume. However, they should NEVER. We all eventually do it when we apply perfume to our wrists but seriously, always resist. The warmth of your skin unfolds perfume naturally, so you are basically running that process by touching it.
Some of the warm spots to apply perfume are the pulse points, the wrist, behind the ears, elbows and on the neck.
Feel the hair
According to the expert: “Another black belt move is to spritz fragrance directly onto your hair. Hair carries scent for a really long time. Applying fragrance directly to your hair creates tempting wafts that are bound to get you compliments,” she says.
Plus it always makes the person feel great whom you hug. Hair and scarfs are the secret weapons for that long lasting fragrance. Just make sure not to apply too much as it may damage your clothing.
Keep it cool
Do not keep your product on your window or under the direct rays of sunlight. It damages your fragrance. Keep them in boxes in a cool dark place like a dresser drawer for instance.
