In an endeavour to promote Odisha's culture and heritage across its borders, Institute for Promotion and Research on Odisha Culture and Heritage (IPROCH) will be organising a three-day theatre festival.
The event 'Natyaparba,' which will be held at NCUI Auditorium from 6 October till 8 October, 2017, will be attended by Minister for Petroleum and Natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram, Minister for Culture and Environment Mahesh Sharma, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports (I/C) and Information & Broadcasting, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Ashok Panda.
Renowned artists like Chitta Ranjan Tripathy, Adwaita Prasad Garnaik, Shyamamani Devi, Priyambada Mohanty, Bankim Mishra, Bibhu Pattnaik and Jharana das will also grace the event.
"Our effort has always been to unite young talents and established artists all over the world to be a part of this show. A small attempt to connect the Odia diaspora and also spread our culture amongst the non-odiyas," said Sangram Dhar, Secretary, IPROCH.
Odia movies will be screened as well as released during the event.
Odia cuisine, handicrafts and textiles will be the special attraction of the event.
