The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notification for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) on its official website today. Therefore, candidates who are waiting for UPSC IAS examination can submit their application form today.
The application process for the post of UPSC IAS, IFS exam will be filled at upsc.gov.in, upsconline.nic.in. As per the UPSC rules, applicants have a total of six attempts to appear for the examination.
This year, UPSC released a total of 796 vacancies for the Civil Services preliminary examination. UPSC will conduct the IAS preliminary examination for UPSC CSE and IFS will be held on May 31 (Sunday).
To get selected for the post, candidates need to clear the preliminary examination followed by the main and the interview round.
Candidates who will clear the Civil Services (Main) examination will have to submit an online Detailed Application Form (DAF). In the form, candidates will have to submit the names of the services participating in the civil services examination for the year for which he/she want to be allocated.
UPSC conducts the Civil Services exam every year to recruit IAS, IPS and IFS officers at all India level.
