A shocking news for candidates who have appeared for the UP Police Recruitment exam this year. Because of some errors in the recruitment for 41,520 vacancies for Police and PAC, UP Police Recruitment Board has decided to conduct the examination again.
As per the reports, incorrect sets of question papers have been distributed during the second shift of the examination, due to which the recruitment board decided to re-conduct the examination. Therefore, over 10 lakh candidates have to appear again for their second shift examination. However, the new dates for the examination likely to be announced soon.
Meanwhile, the UP Police Recruitment Board has decided to file an FIR against the examination centre supervisor and the representative of the agency, who were responsible to conduct the examination.
However, the examination was held on 18th June and 19th June 2018 at over 800 exam centres. The exam was conducted to fill the vacancies over 40,000 for both male and female candidates for the posts of constables in PAC.
After the examination, the reports come to light about the errors in the exam paper that has been distributed in the second shift examination. As per the reports, the second shift exam paper was matched with the first shift paper. Therefore, Recruitment Board had sought a reply from the Tata Consultancy Services, which has the responsibility to conduct the exam.
However, TCS replied that prima facie, the information seemed incorrect as it hadn’t heard any such complaint.
