UP Police Constable recruitment has been started to fill the vacancies over 40,000 released by the Uttar Pradesh Police on 18th June 2018. The examination for the recruitment of the Constable will be of two days i.e. 18th and 19th June. On 18th June, UP Police Special Task Force (STF) has arrested at least 16 miscreants in connection with cheating in the state police constable recruitment examinations, said, officials.
The UP Police Constable recruitment exam has conducted by UP Police to fill 41,520 posts. The recruitment process has been conducted at 860 exam centres in 56 districts.
Inspector General (IG) of Police, STF, Amitabh Yash said that UP STF has arrested at least 16 people from Gorakhpur and five from Allahabad in connection with cheating.
Reportedly, a person who got arrested in Gorakhpur named Anil Giri has also confessed his crime that he had taken the money from candidates for placing them in the examination, said Police spokesperson.
“Anand Yadav (BSc, LLB), one of the solvers, and Amarnath Yadav, a candidate and liasoner for Giri, have landed in the STF's net. Around Rs 4 lakh and ID cards of a dozen candidates have been recovered from them," the spokesperson said.
He also added that STF is in search of arresting such more people who are also involved in the cheating racket.
However, various strict action has been taken by the UP Police to curb the cheating at the examination centres. On 19th June, the second day is also for the recruitment of UP Police Constable and there will be a tight security at the examination centres to prevent such things again.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his condolence over the death of an aspirant in a road accident in Varanasi. The candidate died when the bus in which he was travelling overturned.
Shri Ram College of Commerce has released its first cut off for BCom (Hons) and BA(Hons) in Economics on 18th June with the highest percentage i.e. 97.75 and 98.50 per cent respectively for General category.
However, the varsity had opened its gate for the aspirants who wanted to take an admission to undergraduate courses on 15th May 2018 and the registration process window for the same has been closed on 7th June 2018.
