SSC recruitment 2022: Apply for over 24000 GD Constable posts; 10th pass eligible
The Staff Selection Commission or SSC has started the online application process for recruitment to the Constable (General Duty) and Rifleman (GD) posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the posts by visiting the official website of the Commission. The last date for the submission of the application form is November 30.
The Commission is scheduled to conduct the SSC GD Constable exam in January 2023.
With this recruitment drive, the SSC aims to fill a total of 24,369 posts of Constable (General Duty) posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau.
SSC GD Constable recruitment 2022: Age Limit
Candidates applying for the above-mentioned posts should be between 18 to 23 years of age as on January 1, 2023. The Commission has also allowed upper-age relaxation to the reserved category candidates.

Candidates who cleared their Matriculation or Class 10 Examination, from a government-recognized Board, can apply for the posts.

The SSC will shortlist candidates through - Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification.

An application fee of Rs 100 will be charged from general category candidates, whereas SC/ ST/ ex-servicemen and Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
