SAIL Recruitment 2022: Notification out for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee posts; apply now

The Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has released a notification inviting eligible candidates for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee posts. The registration process has already begun and the last date for the submission of the application form is September 15 this year. 

With this recruitment drive SAIL aims to fill a total of 146 for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee posts in the organisation. 

Candidates applying for the post should have a matriculation degree and have completed one-year apprenticeship training in designated trade from an integrated steel plant and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC), issued by NCVT.

SAIL Recruitment 2022: Selection Process

It is to be noted that the SAIL will select candidates on the basis of the Computer Based examination. The minimum qualifying marks for unreserved category candidates is 50 percentile score. For SC/ ST/ OBC (NCL) and PWD candidates, the minimum qualifying marks is 40 percentile score. 

SAIL Recruitment 2022: Application Fees

Candidates belonging to the General, OBC and EWS categories are required to pay Rs 200 as an application fee, whereas SC/ ST/ ESM/ PwD and departmental candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

“Candidates selected for post of Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee, will be placed on training for a period of 2 Years followed by one year of probation. On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized in S-1 Grade at the minimum basic pay scale of S-1 grade,” reads the official notification.
