A piece of good news for Rajasthan teacher aspirants is that the state government has decided to fill as many as 60,000 vacancies on different posts in schools across the state.
The decision was announced by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot after holding a review meeting with the state education department.
Sharing the information on Twitter, CM Gehlot said that post will be filled in the upcoming recruitment drive. Under this recruitment drive, the state education department will fill positions of teacher, basic computer instructor, senior computer instructor, lecturer, basic education teacher, second-grade teacher, and physical education teacher will be filled.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary Niranjan Arya, Minister of State for Education Govind Singh Dotasra, Additional Chief Secretary School Education Pawan Kumar Goel, Director of Secondary Education Kanaram, Principal Secretary Finance Akhil Arora, State Project Director Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan Bhanwar Lal, and other state officials.
During the meeting, it was also decided that the Gehlot government also directed officials to complete the process of lecturer recruitment 2018. A waiting list of 193 posts of PTI Grade-III recruitment 2011 and 444 vacancies for senior teacher recruitment 2016 will also be released, india.com reported.
To encourage sports in the state, the education department will also increase the post of physical teacher.
Gehlot govt will also recruit aspirants for language teachers.
