The Rajasthan government has given a green signal to the recruitment of 31,000 Grade-III teachers’ posts. On October 14, 2020, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved the proposal for the recruitment after conducting the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination (REET) for teachers, an official statement said.
Taking the information to Twitter, the state education department shared the notice about the approval of posts. The proposal was sent to the finance department for the recruitment to the post of 31,000 Grade-III teachers which was later approved by the state government.

Earlier, the announcement was made to fill a total of 53,000 posts in the budget speech for the year 2020-21. Out of the total vacancies, 41,000 vacancies were from the education department. While 2,489 vacancies were announced for temporary posts in schools across the state. These posts include 104 posts of Headmaster, 1,692 of Senior Teacher, 411 of Teacher, and 282 posts of Junior Assistant.

The department also shared the aforementioned vacancy details on its Twitter official account.

CM Ashok Gehlot also shared the same information on his official social media accounts. The chief minister also approved a proposal for creating 27 new posts for three units of the Special Operations Group, SOG of Rajasthan Police.

As per Times Now digital reports, after this announcement, the state education minister Govind Singh Dotasara said that the official notification for REET will be released soon on the official website.
“While giving relief to lakhs of unemployed people of Rajasthan, today Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot ji has approved the proposal sent by the Education Department regarding the recruitment of 31 thousand third grade teachers. Now very soon the result of REET exam will be released and after that, the exam will be organized,” education minister Dotasara tweeted.
