With an aim to provide job opportunities to unemployed youths, the Ashok Gehlot-led government has organized a Mega Job Fair in Jaipur. The fair has started today and will culminate on November 15.
Organized by the Rajasthan’s Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, the job fair has received registrations from as many as 30,000 unemployed young people in the state.
Skill, Employment, and Entrepreneurship Department Commissioner Renu Jaipal said, it is the first mega job fair organized in Jaipur city with an aim to help unemployed youths. She stressed that the Mega Fair is a golden opportunity for unemployed, educated youth to get employment.
“During this, youth will also be given information about career guidance and ongoing government schemes for their benefit,” she said.
Jaipal further said that the youth have shown great enthusiasm towards the fair and more than 30 thousand youths have registered online. These candidates will be informed about the time slot for the interview through SMS.
Candidates who registered but did not receive the interview SMS should not be concerned; their profiles will be shared with the companies at the upcoming job fair.
More than 60 renowned private sector companies across the country have participated in the Mega Job Fair. Sectors include Agriculture, Apparel, Electronics, Retail, Automobiles, Banking, Finance & Insurance, Logistics, Construction, Management, Entrepreneurship & Professional, Healthcare, IT, Tourism & Hospitality, etc.
