Eligibility Criteria for Steno Posts
Educational Qualification and Experience:
Interested candidates should hold the degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent from a recognized University. He/she should have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spreadsheets). The application should fulfill the condition of qualification on the last date of receipt of applications.

Age Limit:
The minimum age limit required to apply for the post is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 42 years.
Selection Procedure for Karnal Court Steno Jobs:
Candidates will have to appear and qualify the test of 80 w.p.m in English shorthand and 20 w.p.m in the transcription of the same on a computer. He/she will have to qualify the computer proficiency test (word processing and spreadsheets). Marks of proficiency test would not be counted towards the final merit as it is qualifying in nature. The select list will be prepared based on merit.
