The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) likely to conduct the 11th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in the month of September this year. As per the reports, the examination will be held across 92 cities in the country.
According to the official of CBSE, the online application process for the CTET would start from 22nd June 2018 and the examination for the same will be conducted on 16th September 2018.
As the online application process will start from 22nd June and it will remain open until 17th July while the online form fees window will be open till 21st July 2018 before 3:30 pm. All the candidates are advised that don’t wait for the last date to apply for the test. Because there is a possibility that the official website may slow down due to the heavy traffic on the website.
However, all the official details regarding the examination like syllabus, eligibility criteria, examination fees and exam centres and other important dates of the exam will be available on the official website from 12th June 2018.
Looking at the previous years' pattern of the examination. This year too, there will be two paper, i.e. Paper I and Paper II.
The paper I will be for those candidates who are willing to be a teacher for Class 1 to 5. While the paper 2 will be for those aspirants who wanted to teach the students from Class 6 to 8.
The Paper II will be held between 9:30 am to 12:00 pm while Paper II will be conducted between 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
