Suresh Raina has been struggling to find a spot for him in the Indian National team. The last couple of years have not been the best ones for him. However, with less than a week left for the eleventh edition of the IPL to start, Suresh Raina has set the alarms ringing with his recent knock in one of the practice matches.
The left-hander smashed an unbeaten 57 run knock off just 24 balls, albeit in a practice match to signal a warning for his oppositions. In his short innings, Raina put the ball in the stands, 7 times. Raina was playing in a match being played between Huss 11(Mike Hussey) and Flem 11(Stephen Fleming).
The match was played among the players of CSK, The 20-over practice match was played with flexible rules as players were allowed to bat and bowl for both sides. The idea was to create a match-like situation to see how the players react under pressure.
Raina exploited the opportunity well and hit staggering 57 runs off just 24 balls to announce his arrival to the IPL fans. He can be seen hitting the ball really hard, in the video.
