Alwar: In a shocking revelation, the death toll at Alwar's general hospital has reached a staggering 674 in just six months. The fatalities occurred during treatment in the hospital's ICU, with the highest number of deaths recorded in June.

According to hospital records, 133 patients lost their lives in June alone, with 20 deaths reported on a single day, June 19.


The causes of death included cancer, respiratory diseases, brain hemorrhage, sepsis, diarrhea, and peripheral infection.

Rising Death Toll

A disturbing trend has emerged, with the number of deaths increasing year after year.

In 2022, 465 patients died between January and June, which rose to 551 in 2023. This year, the death toll has already reached 674, indicating a significant increase.

A closer look at the deaths in June reveals that respiratory diseases, heart diseases, serious poisoning, and accidents were the leading causes of mortality.

On specific dates, the number of deaths was as follows: June 1 (7), June 2 (5), June 3 (3), June 4 (2), June 5 (2), June 6 (7), June 8 (3), June 9 (2), June 10 (4), June 11 (1), June 12 (2), June 13 (4), June 14 (2), June 15 (3), June 16 (5), June 17 (10), June 18 (13), June 19 (20), and June 20 (9).

June 24 and 28 were the only two days during the month when no patient died.
