Ghaziabad: Delhi woman gang raped by five men
In a shocking incident reported from Ghaziabad, a 40-year-old woman from Delhi was allegedly gang-raped by five men inside a car. Police have filed a case in the matter and took four people into custody.
As maintained by Ghaziabad Superintendent of Police Nipun Agarwal, the incident came to light after the police received information that a woman was found lying near Ghaziabad's Ashram Road. Police then took her to a hospital and she filed a complaint.
The five accused men mentioned in the FIR are identified as Dinu, Shahrukh, Javed, Dhola and Aurangzeb.
Furthermore, he added that the crime might be connected to a property dispute between the parties involved. He also said that the woman knew all the five accused who raped her. The police added that a case vis-a-vis the property dispute is currently ongoing in court.
In the meantime, the chief of the Delhi Commission for Women, Swati Maliwal, Tweeted that the victim had a rod inserted in her. She further added that the rod was still inside her when she was found.
However, the cops rebuffed DCW chief’s statements while adding that they found a tongue cleaner.
The incident took place after the woman's brother dropped her at a bus stand in Ghaziabad. The five men then abducted and raped her inside their car.
A case was lodged at the Nandgram Police station and the police said a probe into the matter is in progress.
