Royal wedding: The Obamas and other political leaders not invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding

A KP spokesman says: “It has been decided that an official list of political leaders – both UK and international - is not required for Prince Harry and Ms. Markle's wedding. Her Majesty's Government was consulted on this decision, which was taken by The Royal Household.”

We know that the former first couple's close friendship with Prince Harry, their connection to the White House has prevented them from landing a spot on the guest list.

The couple didn't invite political leaders in the U.K. and internationally to the wedding which includes the Trumps and British Prime Minister Theresa May. The Royal sources said the wedding will be attended by people who have direct relationship with the couple and St George’s Chapel can't accomodate much people.

Essentially, it’s been decided that there’s no need for official guests, as Prince Harry is not likely to be a future King. Everyone inside the chapel will know Harry and Meghan personally.

Sources told Daily Mail's royal reporter Rebecca English that although the Obamas won't be present when Harry and Meghan say "I do" next month, they "are very much looking forward to seeing them soon."
