To mark World Kindness Day, Selena Gomez helped to spread the message of empowerment.
The 24-year-old-singer took to Instagram and shared a photo, celebrating World Kindness Day with high school students in Los Angeles.
She captioned the snap, "@instagram is celebrating world kindness day and I got to spend it with people who fully will change our world one day. @coach introduced me to @stepupwomensnetwork which is an after school organization that encourages girls to believe that they #CoachXStepUP #DreamBig."
The 'Kill em with Kindness' hit-maker surprised high school students by visiting them in honor of the Step Up Foundation and Coach.
She arrived at the school to spread the message of empowerment and fulfilling one's potential.
In a statement given to People magazine, she said, "Step Up's mission to empower young women is personally important to me and something even more crucial in under-served communities."
She further noted, "Working with the young women I met today was an inspirational experience I will never forget."
