Henry Hall is thankful to everyone for their "outpouring" support for his mother, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, post her breast cancer diagnosis.

Hall took to Twitter to show his appreciation towards the supports.

"I couldn't be more thankful for the outpouring of support for my mom yesterday. Here's a picture of us taken last year. Love to you all," he captioned the heartwarming post alongside a throwback photograph of him and his famous mother.

Louis-Dreyfus also retweeted her son's post and wrote, "I'm thankful, too. And also thankful for my dear boy with good manners".

The post comes just after a day the record breaking Emmy winner announced that she is suffering from the life threatening disease in an official statement from her account.

The 'Veep' star set a record earlier this month, when she won her sixth consecutive Emmy for her role as former VP-turned-president Selina Meyer for the same series on the hit HBO comedy.

It was also learnt that the actress found out that she was diagnosed with the deadly disease just a day after her big win at the Emmy's for 'Best Actress in a Comedy Series' for her role as Selina Meyer in the HBO hit 'Veep.'

Louis-Dreyfus is married to 'Saturday Night Live' comedian Brad Hall since 1987. They have two sons together, Henry and Charles.
