Actor Jared Leto, who was in talks to star in the reboot, has confirmed that the movie is in works and he is a part of bringing 'TRON' back, reports Contactmusic.
Recently, there were reports about a potential 'TRON' reboot, but nothing was official.
While giving an interview to a website, Leto confirmed and said, "I'm absolutely game to try to help in any way that I can bring that to life. It's something that we're in discussions about and very much looking forward to bringing to reality. It's very early days though."
The 'Suicide Squad' star also shared that 'TRON' was a huge movie for him and hopes that the project works out for him.
He said, "It was a huge movie for me as well and I do think there's so much potential in that world, there's so much left to be said. It's one of my favourites."
If the reboot does hit the big screen, it will be the first 'TRON' movie since the original's sequel in 2010 titled 'TRON: Legacy', which focussed on the fan-favourite character, Flynn's son Sam, played by Garrett Hedlund.
The movie got mixed reactions from the critics and the audiences, but was heavily criticised for character development.
The 2010 sequel went on to earn USD 400 million, on a production budget of USD 170 million.
