Finally, the aim of Marvel Studios to beat James Cameron directorial Avatar to grab the position of highest-grossing film ever has been accomplished. The Cinematic Universe of Marvels, Avengers Endgame has beaten Avatars at the box office. Earlier Avatar on the top position with 2.78 billion dollars (19,210 crores).
Avatar was on the top position from last 9 years and finally, from releasing first part Avengers in 2012 to last part of MCU, Avengers Endgame, it took a long time to beat the lifetime biz of Avatar. According to a Hollywood website, currently, there is a gap of 500,000 dollars (Rs 3.44 crores) between Avengers Endgame collection to Avatar's lifetime collection.

Let us tell you that the box office collection of Avengers Endgame increased after the re-release of the film on 28th June. The new version of Avengers Endgame included deleted hulk scenes, a Stan Lee tribute and a post-credit scene featuring characters from Sony' Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Meanwhile, director James Cameron is already ready with the sequel of his biggest blockbuster ever Avatar, as Avatar 2 is releasing on 17th December 2021. This will give another chance to Disney to dethrone Avengers Endgame in box office title.
