There is yet another movie about the Thailand cave rescue being made.
Producer duo Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti, who have collaborated previously for the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' franchise and 'Captain Phillips' will now work on the cave rescue movie, reported Variety.
Luca and Brunetti's Cavalry Media banner has acquired the life rights for portraying Coach Ekkapol Chantawong, cave divers Richard Harri and Craig Challen; and the players on the Wild Boar football team.
The studio also sent a team to Thailand in order to acquire rights for the rest of the people involved in the operation.
In July, Pure Flix Entertainment and the directors Jon M. Chu and Ivanhoe announced that they are on their way to acquire rights to make a movie on the rescue operation.
Post the rescue operation, the Thai government reported that a total of six movies are going to be made about the rescue efforts.
The 12 boys and their coach got trapped in Tham Luang cave for three who weeks after torrential rains caused water logging in the cave.
