UPTET 2019 Exam Postponed: 16 lakh aspirants' exam date extended; likely to be held in last week of January

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) has been postponed by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) which was supposed to be held on December 22, 2019. The new dates for the UPTET exam will be uploaded soon on the official website of UPBEB.

Examination regulatory authorities are planning to conduct the exam on a new date. However, the exam will be held soon because of the upcoming UP board exams. Therefore, UPTET 2019 exam will be held either in the last week of January or in February 2020 so that no problem will raise related to the board exam centers.


Also, UPBEB has issued the about UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) exam postponed due to unavoidable reasons. The new date of examination will be announced as soon as possible.

Because of this delay of the UPTET exam, at least 16 lakh candidates will suffer because they have been preparing for the exam for a long time. Now, they will have to wait for the next one or two months for the exam.

The exam has been postponed due to the ongoing protest against CAA. As internet services were suspended due to the protest, several students unable to download their admit card. For the UPTET exam 2019, there were 1986 examination centres selected.
