Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a list of rejected application forms on its official website. In the list, the names of 51 candidates have been mentioned whose application forms are rejected by the UPSC.
The reason behind the rejection of the application form is the nonpayment of the registration fee. Civil services aspirants should check IAS/IFS 2020 rejected list on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
According to the notice released by UPSC, candidates can appeal against the rejection, if any, may be made within 10 days along with the documentary evidence (hardcopy in original)by speed post OR by hand only to The Under Secretary (CSP), Union Public Service Commission, Examination Hall Building, Hall No.2, 4th Floor, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. An appeal against such rejection should be received in the Commission’s Office latest by 19-03-2020.
The candidates will have to submit their system generated pay-in-slip (in original) of he/she had deposited the application fee through cash mode in the State Bank of India.

“If you have paid the fee through debit/ credit card or thorough internet banking or authorized banks, please submit a copy of your debit/ credit card statement or Bank Account Statement as the case may be. The copy of the statement should be duly authenticated by the bank authorities," UPSC notification reads.

This year, UPSC started the online application process for UPSC IAS 2020 on February 12, 2020, and the last to register was March 3, 2020.
The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the UPSC Civil Services 2020 IAS/IFS exam on May 31, 2020. While the admit card for the same will be released within 3 weeks prior to the UPSC IAS prelims examination 2020.
