UP Police Result 2019: Constable result declared for 49,568 posts; here’s how to check

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has officially announced the results of UP Police Constable exam on its website. Therefore, candidates who had appeared for the exam can check their scores released uppbpb.gov.in.

This year, UP Police has released a total of 49,568 vacancies for the post of Constable on its official website.


UP Police Constable exam was held on January 27 and January 28, 2019 at various examination test centres across the nation.

Around 19 lakh aspirants had appeared for the preliminary written examination.

1. Visit the official website of UPPRPB at uppbpb.gov.in
2. Click on the link which says, ‘UP Police Constable Result 2019’ link
3. A PDF file will appear on the page
4. Selected candidate’s name and roll number will be displayed on the screen
5. If required, download and take a printout the file

Total number of posts: 49,568 posts

  • Constable (Citizen Police): 31,360 posts
  • Constable (Provincial Armed Constabulary): 18,208 posts

UP Police Constable 2019 recruitment: Selection procedure

Selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in the following exam-stages:

  • Scrutiny of Documents
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Written Exam
  • Document Verification

UP Police Constable Recruitment 2019: Pay scale

Candidates will be paid between Rs 5,200 to 20,200 per month with Grade Pay Rs 2,000.
