UGC NET New Syllabus 2019: Know the new changes introduced in curriculum for the upcoming June & December exam

Candidates who are planning to appear for the National Eligibility Test (NET) this year, then an important for such candidates that the University Grants Commission (UGC) has released an updated syllabus for the aspirants on the official website. Therefore, candidates who are going to apply for the June and December 2019 exam must check the changes that have been made by UGC.

Remember, the new changes will be applicable from June 2019 UGC-NET onwards.


All the interested candidates who will be going to appear for the June 2019 examination can check the revised syllabus available on the official website of UGC NET at ugcnetonline.in.

Know when NTA will conduct UGC NET June Exam 2019:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET examination for Assistant Professor and for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both in June. Notably, UGC NET exam will be on multiple dates i.e. 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 June 2019.

Here’s how to check your UGC NET syllabus:

1. Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnetonline.in
2. Click on the link which shows, ‘Updated Syllabi of UGC-NET (Applicable from June 2019 UGC-NET Onwards)’
3. A newly updated syllabus will be shown on the new page
4. Read carefully and download the page
5. Take a printout for a further purpose

However, the registration process for NET June 2019 will begin from March 1 and to
March 30 on the official website. Therefore, all the interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website at ntanet.nic.in.
