UGC NET Exams 2019: NTA to conduct exams from June 20; know these important details about CBT

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon to begin its UGC NET Computer Based Test (CBT) examination process across the nation. As per the official notification, the exams will begin from June 20th and will conclude on June 28th, 2019.

NTA will conduct the exam in various subjects for the post of Assistant Professor, and also for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or only for Assistant Professor post in Indian Universities or Colleges.

UGC NET exam conducts twice every year, one exam held in the month of June and the other in December.

This year, the June month exam will be held on the following dates:
20th, 21st, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th June 2019.

Earlier, CBSE used to conduct the exam, but from 2018, it was handed over to NTA. In December 2018, NTA conducted the UGC Net exam for the first time.

• Downloading of Admit Cards: May 27, 2019
• UGC NET June 2019 Exam Dates: June 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2019
• Timing of Examination: First Shift: 9.30 am to 12.30 pm, Second Shift: 02.30 pm to 05.30 pm
• UGC NET June exam result declaration date: By July 15, 2019

NTA UGC NET June 2019 Exam Details:

• NTA will conduct the UGC NET exam via Computer Based Test mode only. Therefore, candidates should prepare according to it and also plan time management for each question.

NTA UGC NET: Know June Exam pattern:

• Exam Duration: Exam will be for 180 minutes or 3 hours for Paper I and Paper II
• Paper I comprises of 100 marks having 50 questions while Paper II comprises of 200 marks having 100 questions
• No paper break will be given between paper I and Paper II
• The exam will be conducted in two shifts. First shift will begin from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30pm
