Jaipur: In a heartwarming display of solidarity, students of Vidya Kunj School in Surat have come together to pray for the safe return of astronaut Sunita Williams, who is currently stranded in space due to a technical glitch.

During the 10-day Ganesh festival, the students have set up 315 idols of Lord Ganesha and are conducting continuous prayers for Williams' safe return. The students have made the idols themselves, and the prayer ceremony will continue for two and a half days.

Williams, who is of Gujarati origin, is a scientist at NASA and has a strong faith in God and spirituality. When she embarked on her space journey, she took an idol of Lord Ganesha and the Bhagavad Gita with her.

The students of Vidya Kunj School have been inspired by Williams' story and have come together to pray for her safe return. They believe that their collective prayers will help bring her back safely to Earth.

The school has also set up a Ganesh idol, and the students are conducting prayers and rituals to mark the occasion. The entire school is united in their prayers for Williams' safe return, and their efforts are a testament to the power of faith and community.
