SSC CGL Tier I result 2017: Here's how to check cut-off

Staff Selection Commission has declared the result of Common Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I post on 31 October.

SSC CGL Tier I exam was held in the month of August this year. Exam was conducted online mode various centres throughout the country.

According to the reports, a total of 15,43,418 candidates had appeared in the tier I exam. All the aspiring candidates would be able to check the result on the official website of SSC.

According to the notification, there are 1, 50, 404 candidates who will be eligible to appear in the tier II and tier III exam.

In the official notification there are three list of the exam. Students who had applied for the post of AAO should check only list I and qualified students will be allowed to appear in paper I, II and IV in tier II exam. While list II is for those students who had applied for the JSO post and after qualifying it they will be allowed to appear for the paper I, II and III in tier II exam. The final list III is for such candidates who have qualified for the tier II and eligible to appear in paper I and II.

Steps to follow to check the result:

Step 1: Click the SSC official website at www.ssc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the results tab shown on the screen
Step 3: Click on the CGL tab
Step 4: Finally, to check your result click on SSC CGL 2017 Teir I result list
Step 5: Download your result
Step 6: Take Printout for future use


According to the media reports, there are 10 candidates whose result has not been declared by the SSC due to court order. Roll numbers for the 10 contestants are: 2201026842, 2201045468, 2201062554, 2201098871, 2201105924, 2201272135, 2201293503, 2201325697, 2402006180 and 2402019194.

Besides these 10 candidates, the commission has released a list of candidates who were debarred as well as appeared twice for exam and their candidature has been cancelled.

The selected candidates will now be eligible to appear for Tier-II exam. It is necessary to qualify all the tiers separately too.
