Lakhs of Railway jobs aspirants are eagerly waiting for the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) to announce the Group D computer-based test (CBT) results. The exam for 60,000 plus vacancies was held in September to December 2018.
The result is scheduled to be announced in mid-February on the official website of RRB. However, the board is yet to announce a confirmed date for the announcement of the RRB Group D results. Media reports are claiming the RRB Group D CBT is likely to be announced between 13 February to 15 February. However, note that it is not the official’s confirmed date.
It is noteworthy that 1.89 crore candidates applied for 62907 posts of Group D. With the participation of such a large number of candidates, the result is going to be delayed shortly, but the RRB will try to complete the recruitment before the Lok Sabha elections.
Let us tell you that Railway Minister Piyush Goyal recently said that notification for 2.3 lakh recruitments in Railways will be issued in a phased manner. According to the Ministry of Railways, the first phase of recruitment of 1,31,328 posts will be started in the month of February-March, 2019.
The RRB Group D result will be announced on the official websites at rrbcgd.gov.in along with the final answer keys.
