Railway has announced the recruitment for Group D, Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician posts. However, the government has introduced new changes for the exam. As the age limit that had reduced by the government is changed now and also the exam will be conducted in different
regional languages.
Students who want to apply for the Group D exam must apply before the application form closes on 12 March 2018. As Indian Railways has announced 62,907 vacancies for the same posts. So, there will be a huge opportunity for the candidates and they also can change their language preferences.
Posts for Group D: Track Maintainer, Pointsman, Gateman, Helper in Electrical, Engineering, Mechanical, Signal & Telecommunication departments, Cabin-Man, Porters, Gang-Man, Key-Man, Switch-Man, Track-Man, Shunter, Welder, Fitter, Group D (Store).
All the applicants should have passed the Class 10th or also have passed ITI from a recognised board/institute. The application fees for the examination will be Rs 100. While for reserved categories ST/SC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Minorities exempted from payment of fees.
For Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Grade III posts, Indian Railways has announced the vacancies over 26000 posts. So, aspirants who are interested in the posts can apply before 5 March 2018 otherwise they will miss the opportunity.
Candidates need to possess the degree of matriculation or 10th pass/ ITI/Diploma of Engineering before applying for this post.
