NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2021: Know when to download hall tickets; check new update

UGC NET Admit Card 2021: The National Test Agency (NTA) is expected to release the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test or UGC NET admit card today.

Therefore, candidates who have applied for the UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles should keep their eyes on the official website of NTA.


Earlier on October 22, NTA had notified the new examination dates for UGC NET on its official website—ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

As per the official notification, the exam will begin on November 20.

NTA had decided to merge the December 2020 and June 2021 cycles after the examinations were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now, NTA will conduct both cycles exams jointly from November 20.

According to the official notification, “This is in continuation to the Public Notice dated 09.10.2021 regarding the Examination dates for UGC-NET December 2020 and June 2021 cycles. The dates for the conduct of Examination for UGC-NET December 2020 and June
2021 cycles have now been finalized.”

Check UGC NET Exam Dates 2021:

NTA will conduct the UGC NET exams on 20,21,22,24,25,26,29,30 November and 01,03,04,05 December 2021.

Once the admit card is released, candidates can download their UGC NET hall tickets in the following way:

Steps to download NTA UGC NET Admit Card 2021:

  • Go to the official website of NTA UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the link that says, “E-Certificate UGC NET December 2020/June 2021”
  • Enter your credentials asked on the page
  • Click on Submit option
  • NTA UGC NET admit card will appear on the page
  • Download the PDF of the admit card
  • Take a printout for further purpose

After downloading the UGC NET Hall Ticket 2021, candidates are advised to check the following details available in the call letter:

  • Name of Candidate
  • Father’s Name
  • Center Name
  • Center Code
  • Roll Number
  • Category
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Subject of the Exam
  • Date & Time for the examination
  • Important Instructions
  • Authorized Signatory (Secretary/Director)
  • Candidate’s Address
  • Photograph & Signature
  • Application Number

NTA UGC NET Exam 2021:

The exam will be held via online mode and there will be no negative marking. NTA will conduct two papers- Paper 1 will be of 50 marks and will have 100 questions. While Paper 2 will have 100 questions carrying 200 marks.
