NTA NEET 2019: Check out the eligibility criteria for the medical entrance exam

The online registration for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test has begun from 1st November 2018 for the admissions to the undergraduate medical courses across the country. Therefore, all the interested candidates can apply on the official website of NTA.

From 2016, the NEET was made compulsory entrance examination for the medical aspirants for good colleges.


In 2017, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also introduced some criteria for the examination like age limit, an attempt for the exam. After several petitions filed by the students in the various courts, the board had to modify its decision for the exam pattern. Also, there are no changes introduced this year.

Check out the eligibility criteria for NEET 2019:

Age Limit:

  • The applicants must have the minimum age limit is 17 while the maximum age limit is 25 years.
  • Reserved category candidates will also get the age relaxation of five years.

Number of attempts:

Each candidate will get the attempt  for the NEET exam for three time.
