Sagar (Madhya Pradesh): Government schools in the city reopened on Tuesday, marking a new beginning for students. The "Bhavishya Se Bhent" program, which aims to inspire students to achieve their goals, was organized at various schools.

On the first day, MLA Nirmala Sapre visited School No. 2 and emphasized the importance of education to the students. Janpad President Usha Rai also motivated the students to focus on their studies. At the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Naib Tehsildar Sushil Khare, Dr. Avtar Singh Yadav, and former Principal Kalpana King participated in the program, which began with a prayer to Goddess Saraswati. The students presented a Saraswati Vandana. Naib Tehsildar Sushil Khare addressed the students, while Dr. Yadav highlighted the importance of health and education for overall development.

Meanwhile, many schools in the city failed to distribute mid-day meals to students on the first day, despite prior arrangements. This oversight left many students hungry.

The "School Chalo Abhiyan" program, which aims to encourage students to attend school regularly, was also launched on Tuesday. The program will continue for three days, during which public representatives and officials will motivate students to achieve their goals.

On the first day, around 200 students attended the program at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School. Similar programs were organized at other schools in the city.

Low Attendance on First Day

Despite schools reopening on Tuesday, many schools reported low attendance on the first day. This was attributed to a lack of motivation among students to attend school.
