The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 exam. Candidates are anxiously waiting for the exam date for the medical entrance examination, however, there is no official date has been released by the NTA.
According to the NTA Director-General, Vineet Joshi said that the NEET 2021 examination date will be announced by February-end or early-March.
While talking to India TV on the delay of the NEET 2021 exam, Joshi said that the process is taking so long because 28 boards, two ministries, and the NTA is involved in the brainstorming session.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NTA is consulting with its stakeholders and considering all the aspects which will prove beneficial for the students.
Therefore, students are advised to visit the official website of NTA NEET to know official updates about the medical entrance examination.
Last year, the NEET exam was held on September 13 after it was postponed twice due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Over 13.66 lakh students appeared for the exam and out of the total 7,71,500 candidates had qualified NTA NEET 2020.
NEET 202 was conducted in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Gujarati, and Odia.
