NEET 2019: Check out the new age rule announced by SC for medical entrance exam; know important details about exam

Now, students older than 25 years can also apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 examination. Yes, the Supreme Court of India has announced its decision on Thursday and allowed the medical aspirants over 25 years to appear for the examination.

NEET exam which will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the admissions to the undergraduate exam for MBBS and BDS. The apex court has also extended the last date to submit the online application form by a week. 


By extending the last date of the entrance exam, candidates who were unable to apply for the exam due to the age restriction, now they will also be eligible for the medical entrance exam.

Earlier, the last date to do the online registration of the NEET exam was 30th November.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had stated the age limit for the aspirants and notified that the upper age limit for the General category is 25 years while for reserved category, the age limit is 30 years.
