NEET 2018: These instructions and tips given by Board should be kept in mind before entering to exam hall

The Central Board of Secondary Education will go to conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test on 6 May 2018. All the students who are going to appear for the NEET examination this year have gird up their loins for seeking the admission to undergraduate MBBS and BDS courses all over India. This year, over lakh of candidates, have applied for the examination and now one day is left for the NEET 2018.

CBSE has made some changes to the exam as this time candidates can give the examination in the 11 different languages i.e. Hindi, English, Urdu, Marathi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. Because of the vast syllabus and tough competition, students seem to be worried that how to prepare for the exam so that they can crack it in the first attempt.

The medical entrance exam is based on single paper and the 180 objective type questions will be asked in all languages. The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). However, the duration of the exam would be three hours only. Therefore, students have to be very active and serious while filling up their OMR sheets.

However, Board has given some important instructions that should be kept in mind before entering the examination hall.

Here are the important tips for NEET aspirants from Board’s side:

1. Reach the centre on time as no students will be allowed to enter after 9:30 am.

2. Don’t forget to carry your admit card before going to the exam hall. If you forget to take it then, you will not allow entering the exam hall. So, keep it in your bag right now and also take a passport size photograph.

3. No need to take a ball pen as Board will provide you black or blue ballpoint pen for giving the examination.

4. Every aspirant who is going to appear for NEET exam should wear light clothes with half sleeves and it should not have any big buttons, brooch. Students either wear slippers or sandals to the exam room, shoes are banned.

5. This time Sikh aspirants can wear their traditional attire like ‘kirpan or ‘kara’ for the entrance examination. As Delhi HC directed CBSE that they can’t prohibit the entry of these 'articles of faith' in an exam centre.
