The Central Board of Secondary Education has made it clear after getting the several complaints regarding the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam) that it will not go to set any eligibility criteria for the exam. As students were having the issue regarding those have done their schooling from NIOS board (National Institute of Open Learning School) or State Open School or for those who had taken Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject in class 12 are considering as an ineligible for the exam.
CBSE has announced that if any students have any queries then they should approach the Medical Council Of India.
The board in an advisory said that ' therefore, all the grievances received by CBSE on these issues are disposed of. Candidates are requested to kindly read the information bulletin and FAQs hosted on NEET website before sending grievance to the board in any form.
However, the registration for the NEET UG 2018 is going on till 9 March 2018. However, the exam will be conducted on 6 May 2018. The examination will be conducted in 11 languages ( Hindi, English, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada). NEET UG exam is conducted for taking the admission in medical colleges for MBBS/BDS courses in India.
