JEE Main Exam 2022: Check out exam pattern for BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning papers

JEE Main Exam 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be going to conduct the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main BTech, BArch, and BPlanning papers between April 21 and May 4.

Paper 1 (BE and BTech) of JEE Main 2022 exam will have questions from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. While Paper 2 (BArch and BPlanning) will also have three sections in the paper. Candidates should note that Mathematics and Aptitude tests will be common for BArch and BPlanning. The exam will be held as a computer-based test while the drawing test of BArch paper will be conducted in pen-paper mode and the BPlanning paper will consist of planning-based questions.

The exam will be held in two slots between 9 am and 12 noon, and 3 pm and 6 pm.

JEE Main Exam Pattern for BTech, BArch, BPlanning Papers

There will be multiple choice questions and numerical questions for JEE Main 2022 exam for the BTech, BArch, and BPlanning papers.

The BE or BTech paper of JEE Mains will consist of three sections i.e. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. There will be 90 questions in the section. In the BArch paper or Paper 2A, there will be three sections -- Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing. The BPlanning paper for JEE Main exam 2022 will have questions from Mathematics, Aptitude tests, and Planning-based.

JEE Main is held for those who want to take admission to undergraduate engineering courses at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other National Institutes of Technology (NITs) across the country. The top scorer in JEE Main will also be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2022.
