The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a new notification for the overseas students who have applied for the JEE Main April exam 2019. As NTA has observed that during the January 2019 JEE Main exam that some students from abroad have reached the examination centre as per the local timings.
As they were supposed to reach the examination centres as per the Indian Standard Time (IST) which was released in the notification of JEE Main January exam. Due to which some students unable to appear in the JEE Main 2019 January examination.
In consideration of this issue, NTA has released a notification which stated about the examination timings to the aspirants.
Candidates who will be going to appear for the JEE Main April 2019 exam in the abroad cities are advised to report to their examination venue as per the Indian Standard Time (IST) which would be mentioned in their JEE Main 2019 admit card.
Candidates are advised not to forget their admit card before appearing for the examination. No candidate will allow sitting for the JEE Main exam without the hard copy of admit card.
